Where to start

If this is the problem in front of you

Professional services are organised by discipline. These entry points are organised by the situation a director or finance lead is usually trying to resolve.

The accountant left and the books are incomplete

Ledgers, reconciliations, or source documents were not handed over in a usable state.

Continue

Bank statements are all that remain

There is no reliable general ledger, but bank records can still support reconstruction.

Continue

The NRS has written to the company

An enquiry, assessment, or information request needs a documented response.

Continue

The auditor has asked for schedules you do not have

Year-end files, reconciliations, or supporting analyses are not ready for fieldwork.

Continue

The business is profitable, but cash is always short

Monthly numbers, bank reconciliations, and cash-flow visibility have fallen behind.

Continue

There is concern that someone is misapplying funds

Suspected irregularity needs an evidence-based investigation, not a routine audit.

Our Commitment

What We Stand For

Joe Adinma & Co. is committed to the following in every engagement.

Independence

Our audit opinions and investigative reports are formed on the basis of evidence, without regard to what any party may prefer to hear. Independence is not a policy — it is the foundation upon which the professional value of our work rests.

Confidentiality

All client information is treated with strict professional confidentiality, in accordance with ICAN's Rules of Professional Conduct and the terms of our engagement letters. We do not discuss client affairs except within the bounds of our professional mandate.

Compliance with Standards

Every engagement is conducted in accordance with the relevant professional framework: ISA for audit work, IFRS and IFRS for SMEs for financial reporting, and the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 and applicable NRS regulations for tax compliance mandates.

Partner-led practice

Engagements are supervised and reviewed at partner level. Experienced professional judgement remains involved in the work. The partner who signs your report is the partner who directed it.

Timely Delivery

Financial statements, tax returns, and audit reports operate within defined statutory and commercial timeframes. We manage our engagements to meet those timeframes — without compromising the quality of our work.

Straightforward Communication

We communicate findings, risks, and recommendations in plain language. Where a matter requires a difficult decision, we provide the information necessary to make it — without hedging, and without dressing bad news in reassuring language.
